Sküma discount code: save £20 and compare the three MY™ Station bundles

The code FRIEND-CDRBCCP is a Sküma discount voucher code to save £20 off the displayed purchase price. Before choosing a package, it is worth understanding what Core, Essentials and Complete actually add — because the cheapest bundle is not automatically the best-value one.

Core vs Essentials vs Complete

What do you get for the extra money?

Sküma currently presents three ways to buy the MY™ Station. The underlying purifier is the same; the meaningful difference is how much of the mineral system and drinkware you buy up front.

BundlePrice checkedWhat Sküma says is includedOur interpretation
Core£379MY™ Station plus three months of minerals and a maintenance kit.Best starting point if you want the machine without committing to a year's mineral supply.
Essentials£409Core package, upgraded to one year of mineral profiles.Only £30 above Core at the checked prices, so this is the package to examine closely if you expect to use remineralisation routinely.
Complete£419Everything in Essentials plus two 500 ml glass Sküma bottles. At £10 above Essentials, it mainly comes down to whether you actually want the branded glass bottles.

Which Sküma bundle makes the most sense?

The useful comparison is not simply £379 versus £409 versus £419. All three packages centre on the same countertop MY™ Station, so the extra spend is buying consumables and accessories rather than a more capable purifier. That distinction matters because it lets you judge the bundles according to how you expect to use the machine.

Choose Core if you are still testing the mineral concept

Core is the lower-commitment purchase. It gives you the machine and an initial mineral supply, so you can establish whether you prefer remineralised water before buying a longer supply. This is particularly relevant if your main reason for buying Sküma is reverse-osmosis purification and instant hot water rather than the MY™ Bases system.

Essentials is the bundle to scrutinise for value

At the prices we checked, Essentials costs £30 more than Core while Sküma describes it as including one year of mineral profiles. If you already know you intend to use the mineral system throughout the year, compare the quantity included with the cost of buying those minerals separately. That is a more meaningful value calculation than treating the larger headline bundle as automatically better.

Complete is essentially an accessory decision

Complete is currently £10 above Essentials and adds two 500 ml glass Sküma bottles. If those are accessories you would otherwise buy, the small step up is easy to understand. If you already have suitable reusable glass bottles, Complete adds less practical value. The purification performance of the machine does not improve when you move from Essentials to Complete.

What stays the same whichever bundle you choose?

The MY™ Station is a plug-in countertop reverse-osmosis system rather than an under-sink installation. Sküma currently specifies a three-stage RO process, a 4.8-litre refillable tank, 1.5 litres of internal purified-water storage and dimensions of approximately 22 cm wide by 34 cm deep by 40.5 cm high. That footprint is worth measuring on your own worktop before ordering: the height and depth can matter more in a real kitchen than the width.

The machine dispenses room-temperature water and also heats water on demand. Sküma lists selectable hot-water temperatures of 50°C, 75°C, 85°C and 92°C. It does not provide refrigerated chilled water, so households wanting genuinely cold water would still need to chill it separately.

Practical point: choosing a more expensive bundle does not give you a different filter, larger tank or higher-performance MY™ Station. The package differences are principally the supply of mineral profiles and, with Complete, glass bottles.

Budget for ownership, not just the purchase price

A voucher reduces the initial transaction, but replacement consumables determine what the machine costs to keep using. Sküma currently lists its 12-month Super Filter at £40 and says mineral packs start from £11.50 per pack, with a pack lasting roughly two months. Sküma estimates ongoing use at about £6–£8 per month depending on usage. Those figures are more useful for budgeting than the voucher saving alone.

The Super Filter is described as a roughly annual replacement, with actual capacity depending on source-water quality and use. Maintenance also matters with a reverse-osmosis appliance: descaling and cleaning should be treated as part of ownership rather than an optional extra performed only when performance drops.

Why the mineral supply changes the bundle calculation

Reverse osmosis removes dissolved material along with unwanted contaminants. Sküma's product concept is unusual because it pairs the RO stage with replaceable MY™ Bases that add a selected mineral profile back into the purified water. Sküma currently describes Mineral Soft as its everyday balanced profile, Mineral Plus as a higher-mineral option, and Mineral Alkaline as its more alkaline profile.

That means the value of Essentials depends heavily on whether you want to use MY™ Bases consistently. Someone who mainly wants neutral RO water may place less value on a year's mineral supply. Someone buying Sküma specifically because of its remineralisation system should account for the mineral supply when comparing Core with Essentials.

Five things to check before using the code

  1. Measure the space. Allow for the machine's approximate 22 × 34 × 40.5 cm dimensions and practical access for refilling.
  2. Decide whether remineralisation matters to you. That determines whether the Essentials upgrade has meaningful value.
  3. Consider hot versus chilled water. Sküma provides instant heated settings, but not active refrigeration.
  4. Include consumables in your budget. A replacement RO filter and optional ongoing minerals are recurring costs.
  5. Check the checkout total. Use FRIEND-CDRBCCP, but confirm that the stated £20 saving is accepted and whether it can be combined with any live Sküma promotion.

Is the £20 code a reason to choose Sküma?

No. A discount is useful only after the product has passed your own buying criteria. The stronger reasons to consider Sküma are its no-plumbing countertop format, reverse-osmosis filtration, integrated remineralisation and hot-water dispensing. Reasons to choose something else can include limited worktop space, a preference for chilled water, high-volume demand or wanting a permanently installed under-sink system.

Sküma discount code and bundle FAQs

What is the Pure Water Guide Sküma discount code?

The referral code is FRIEND-CDRBCCP. It is intended to give an eligible purchaser £20 off. Referral terms can change, so verify the discount in the basket or at checkout.

Can I use the Sküma code with another sale or promotion?

Do not assume discounts will stack. Sküma controls its checkout rules and promotions, so test the code against the current offer and compare the final payable price.

Which Sküma bundle is cheapest?

When checked on 6 October 2026, Core was £379, Essentials £409 and Complete £419. Prices can change, so the current Sküma product page should take precedence over this snapshot.

Does Complete have a better MY Station than Core?

No. The package upgrade is about included minerals and accessories. Sküma's current Complete bundle adds two 500 ml glass bottles to Essentials; it is not presented as a higher-specification purifier.

Do I have to use Sküma minerals?

The mineral profiles are part of Sküma's personalised-water proposition, but the importance you place on them is a buying decision. If remineralisation is not a priority, factor that into whether paying for a larger mineral bundle makes sense for you.
